The main winter attractions in the Snowy Mountains are skiing and snowboarding.
The closest snow resort to Windradeen is Selwyn Snowfields. This resort is absolutely family orientated and they specialise in beginners/intermediate skiers and boarders.
Not only that, it is a fun, enjoyable and affordable snow resort.
Selwyn Snowfields is the main snow resort that people go to when staying in the Adaminaby area because it is so close. It is only a 35 minute drive.
The other resorts, Perisher Blue and Thredbo are about 120kms and approximately a 120Kms hour drive, which is still not too far to travel to have a great day skiing/boarding.
